  1. My printer won’t load the paper for it to print photos it makes the sound like it’s trying to pick up the paper but it just won’t. What could it be? There’s nothing stuck in it. I unplugged and left it alone for 2 hours and still won’t load up the photos.

    • Hi,

I have the exact same problem. The printer arrived today. I set it up. Followed each instruction to the letter and it still won’t print. It just blinks red for 10 secs then yellow and says check the cassette is filled with paper. It is…… This is so frustrating.

  2. Hi,
I experienced the same problem as well returned first unit replacement has same problem. Putting 1 sheet in at a time seems to work just fine.

  3. I also have a problem with the paper not loading. The little bar lifts the paper, but the rollers do not pull the paper in to print the photo. I’ve cleaned the rollers, as the troubleshooting guide suggested, but still nothing. The printer dock worked beautifully the first few times I used it.

  5. We are having exactly same problem as well. Rollers are just not grabbing the paper at all. We’ve tried troubleshooting several ways with no luck!

  6. I have the same problem with mine. Actually you already replaced it for the same reason. The few prints that I have gotten have been great..
    No complaints about that.
I made less than 10 prints on both machines and then it starts saying to insert paper tray. For the last hour I’ve been trying to speak to a person. It’s been a major run around. I do not want to spend $5.00 to chat with someone. I am already in your fines. Please…
    Someone help me

  7. My cartridge runs out of ink way to fast. I have a box of 80 sheets, so I should get 40 out of each cartridge, but it said check cartridge after only 11 prints last night. I still have 20 sheets left from my last box. I could see it maybe run out with a couple sheets out but not on 11 sheets to one cartridge.

  9. I am having the same paper loading issue with my brand new printer. UNSAT for a $150+ piece of equipment from an established name brand. I am going to file a complaint if this does not resolve.

  10. To whom it may concern:

    Dear sir or ma’am,

A few weeks ago I purchased a Kodak instant dock printer. While $150+ was a bit steep for a printer, I was willing to pay more for a Kodak product than other options because it is a trusted name brand which carries with it the promise of quality assurance and customer support. Unfortunately, I have received neither of these with this purchase. This printer fails to load the photo printer paper and instead there is only an error message that states “check cassette filled with paper.” I have cleaned the rollers, per user manual troubleshooting guidance. I have ensured there is no paper jam and I am using Kodak brand supplies, all in accordance with the user manual. I then attempted to find alternate solutions online. What I found instead was a blog site on the Kodak website associated with the downloadable manual with a lengthy list of other frustrated and ripped of customers with the same issue for months and no response from the company on solutions. I am attempting to contact the company before leveraging the BBB, signed petitions, and other public avenues to elicit a response for myself and others who have had the same expensive thievery experience. I am sure everyone would be most interested in an expeditious and quiet resolution of your middle-class customer base receiving quality products and customer care to address faulty products.

  11. Had the same problem where it wouldn’t take the paper for the print job no matter what we tried. I saw someone else say to try only one page of the paper at a time. Annoying but seems to be working now.
